It’s summer time here in the desert and that means that we have already fired up the grill where we pretty much cook all of our meals. I love this time of year and I love the dinners we enjoy in the evenings when the sun is up long enough to play afterwards. I wanted to make sure and share with you our recipe for homemade herb steak butter. Something a little fancy that takes zero effort to make happen which is always a plus in my book! Keep scrolling for all of the how-to.
The herb steak butter only takes six ingredients and about five minutes to make. You will want to set out one stick of butter for a bit in order to soften it. While that is happening, chop up your fresh rosemary, thyme, parsley and clove of garlic.
When the butter is soft enough you will want to combine that with all of your chopped up ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Finish it off with a pinch of your favorite steak seasoning.
Then you will simply place your butter mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap, wrap it up completely and shape it into a sort of long roll – your own butter stick shape. Place it in the fridge until firm. If you are in a hurry you can also use the freezer to speed up the process.
Once your steaks are ready, simply slice up the butter and place on top of each steak and allow it to melt. Between seasoning your steak with salt and pepper and all of the delicious flavors in the butter? Goodness gracious, my mouth is watering. Scroll just a bit more to catch the shopping list and detailed instructions. Hope you and your gang enjoy!
