I have really loved putting time in to trying to find products that I love and trying out different things. Last month I shared with you my new skincare routine and I am still loving it. I feel more refreshed than I have in a long time! And I am so excited to bring you another round of my latest finds and obsessions for August. We’re covering skincare, makeup finds and even hair with this one!
Remember! These monthly shares of latest finds are not sponsored in any way. These are products that I purchase myself and try out and if I end up liking them I want to make sure and share with you all. Because sharing is caring, right? And we’re best friends after all. Wink!
I have been keeping an ear out for a new bronzer. My last one had completely run out so I figured now was as good a time as ever to dive into a new option. I tried one from Target, but it did absolutely nothing. Then I heard about the Whatup Beaches Matte Bronzer by Elizabeth Motte. The name made me chuckle and not to mention it’s only $15 so I ordered it on Amazon back in July and have been using it ever since. A great color and really does the job!
When I shared last months finds, I mentioned that I wanted to add a Vitamin C serum to my routine. I found this one by Measurable Difference and have really liked it. I had no break outs from using it like you sometimes experience with new products and my skin feels a bit more hydrated with it. The benefits of using a Vitamin C serum on my skin is what had me searching for one. Vitamin C serum has anti-aging benefits as well as helps protect against the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. And because Vitamin C is an antioxidant, it helps to strengthen your skin naturally.
While I am not a makeup guru, I have known for awhile that I wanted to start using a highlighter to get a little bit more glow. I heard great reviews on the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector and I purchased the Moonstone shade. And I am in love with it!! It’s been the easiest addition to my makeup routine, but truly has made a difference and I now get that great glowy look. I snagged this helpful diagram of where you should apply an illuminator from Elle. You just want to think of it as all the places on your face that lights hits first.
The best for last because this curl creme by Kristin Ess has been LIFE CHANGING. If you follow me on Instagram, I shared recently that my hair has been out of control since having Brooks. I was paying to have it blown out weekly, but it’s just so much upkeep! So I have decided to embrace my hair au natural and learn to get my curls looking top notch. This was the first product I picked up to try since embracing this new approach and I have been so incredibly happy with it! I will be sharing me entire system for working my natural curls very soon so stay tuned!
Make sure to keep in touch if you end up trying some of the above products out. I would love to know if you love them as well!
Have a wonderful weekend!
